BMW has recently uploaded a new video which features the recently announced 3-Series Gran Turismo on their official YouTube channel.
The BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo was unveiled in the Geneva Motor Show last month. The car is 200 mm longer and 81 mm taller than the Touring variant and also has an extended wheelbase of 110 mm. The benefit of these changes is that the rear passengers get an additional 70 mm of legroom, while the cargo room has increased to 1,600 liters once the rear seats are folded down.
Design echoes the 3-Series family but is easily distinguishable which is mainly due to the hatch which has an active spoiler deployable at 68 mph (110 kmph) and retractable once the car travels below 43 mph (70 kmph).
The car is being offered in varieties of engines starting with a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo with output generation capacity of 143 hp (105 kW) and ending with the inline-six 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo capable of generating 306 hp (225 kW).
