Cadillac CTS Convertible by Drop Top Customs to debut at 2010 SEMA Preview

by Alex

If Cadillac CTS in a soft top convertible version is ones choice of cars to have, then the sad part is that Cadillac themselves have no plans as of now to build one such car. Good news though also exists for such car lovers. Drop Top Customs is going to do just this conversion and they would also be displaying it at the forthcoming 2010 SEMA Show.

SEMA show has always had the presence of DTC through their innovative custom convertibles which have always attracted the visitors to the show. All types of production hardtops have been converted to fully functional convertibles by DTC ever since their formation which has been near to three decades ago. They have even been able to bag a design award from Chrysler during the show held a few years back wherein they had displayed a convertible Challenger. Last year they displayed a Chevrolet Camaro convertible which was an attraction item at the show. For now DTC has on offer a four door CTS convertible. During the SEMA show being held this year DTC is going to showcase a ragtop CTS coupe. The roofline has been given a rakish design which is expected to appeal to the customers as per DTC CEO Jeff Moran. As per him the time for completing the work is not long and therefore enough stocks are expected to be available of the CTS coupe in near future. DTC is also going to commence selling of its Two door CTS convertible by the fall of this year.
