Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible to make Geneva Debut

by SpeedLux

There are reports that indicate that the Chevrolet will unveil the Corvette C7 Convertible during the Geneva Motor Show in March.

According to a popular news magazine, the Stingray should go into production in August and reach dealerships by the end of the year.

So far there is no word from Chevrolet about a convertible version of the new Vette but there is a possibility there will be such a model. Few days ago couple of photos were leaked of what could actually be the convertible, but no official confirmation or denial has been made so far.

In the Engine department it is expected to get the same 6.2-liter L1 V8 engine as the coupe, with an estimated output of 450 hp (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft (609 Nm). Gearbox choices will include the same 6-speed auto and 7-speed manual.

There isn’t any information on car performance and features till now, but once the Geneva show begins loads of information will pour out for the public.
