Citroen confirms compact crossover

by SpeedLux

A Citroën representative has recently given few details about the company’s upcoming lineup changes.

The company’s C Line boss Pierre Monferrini announced that it is working on a compact crossover to compete with other cars in this segment such as the Peugeot 2008 and the Renault Captur. Also, Citroën has finally confirmed that the DS Wild Rubis will very soon enter production but they are not very clear whether the model will be sold in Europe.

The company also has plans to make a replacement for the C6 which will receive the DS moniker. The car has been already previewed last year by the stunning Numero 9 concept but Monferrini states that the body was still in the process of further evaluation.

In yet another news, the next generation of the C5 will most likely be a part of the aforementioned C (Cactus) Line, while the C1 which has been already seen in several spy pictures has also been green-lighted for a new gen that will most likely be unveiled at Paris Motor Show in September next year.

Well the plans sounds good but hope the things also move according to the plans and there is quick decision making on various pending matters.
