Five people were killed following a car crash near Mooketsi in the Mopani District.
The crash took place when the sedan lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree on the R81 in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The driver and four passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.
Limpopo Transport Department reported the details of the incident.
