Gemballa’s GTP 700 based on the Porsche Panamera Turbo has managed to touch a top speed of 338.8 kmph (210.5 mph), which means that it has become the quickest sedan weighing over two tones in the world.

Gemballa had introduced its GTP 700 program for the Porsche Panamera Turbo sometime back at the Essen Motor Show and it seems that this package has done its wonders as Gemballa is announcing that the car has become the fastest sedan in the world tipping the scales at more than two tons. The vehicle in question was a customer version riding on 22-inch alloy wheels and was tested at the Nardo high-speed track and had a curb weight of 2,045 kg (4,508 lbs) and a total weight (including driver and fluids) of 2,225 kg (4,905 lbs).

After tuning the twin-turbo V8 4.8-liter engine to generate an output of 700 HP (515 kW), the high-performance four-door sedan managed to reach a top speed of 210.5 mph. The modified Panamera Turbo needs just 3.3 seconds to achieve the 0 to 62 mph (100 kmph) sprint while 0-124 mph will be done in 9.6 seconds and touch 184 mph (300 kmph) in 26.5 seconds.
