Jaguar Land Rover ended the financial year with a sale-record

Jaguar Land Rover maintained its record-sale momentum last month too, totaling 75,303 cars in global sales, which is increase of 29 percent, while it sold 158,813 cars in the first three months of 2016, marking a 28 percent boost over the very same period in the prior year. Retail figures for the month were up year-on-year across all regions, with 49 percent in Europe, 43 percent in China, 33 percent in the United States and Canada and 16 percent in the home. When it comes to more statistics, Jaguar Land Rover retailed 521,571 cars, 13 percent more than in 2014/15. Of that, Jaguar sold 94,449 devices and Land Rover hit 427,122 automobiles.

Marking its finest March yet, Land Rover had 60,128 vehicles sold, a record pressed by its best-sellers Discovery Sport with 16,937 vehicles, the Range Rover Evoque (15,904) as well as the Range Rover Sport, with retails of 11,003 in the month. Calendar year-to-date sales for the label reached 128,959 systems, 23 percent up on the previous year. Jaguar taped its best ever March, providing 15,175 models, a 62 percent increase on the previous year, due to continued strong sales of the XE (6,521 vehicles) and the brand-new XF (5,331 automobiles), while calendar year-to-date numbers were 29,854, a 54 percent increase.
