New details are coming up on Jaguar‘s long awaited, futuristic product lineup.

First and foremost the company is working upon an X-Type successor, which has been codenamed as X760 for 2015.This new mysterious model is slated to ride on the premium lightweight architecture (PLA) platform and will be available with rear and all-wheel drive. It is also expected that a redesigned XF model which is internally dubbed as X260, will be offered as a sedan and wagon, but there are chances for a third body style which will mostly be like a crossover. The other vehicle, the next-generation XJ (X360) is slated for 2017, where upto three different versions are planned including a sedan, a Mercedes CLS-like four-door coupe and a high-end variant that will reportedly “be even more desirable than a Bentley Continental Flying Spur for half the price.” Also among all this, it is expected that the F-Type lineup may grow to include a coupe, an all-wheel drive variant and a high-performance RS. And lastly the next generation XK is expected to move up market and feature more powerful engines.
