Kia Motors said it will recall almost 380,000 Sportage and Cadenza vehicles due to an electrical circuit that could cause a fire in the engine compartment.

The recall covers vehicles constructed from the 2017-2021 model years and dealers will change some fuses in the electrical junction box.

The automaker is advising owners to park outside and away from structures as a precaution until the recall fixing work is finished.

The recall was prompted by a similar one in the South Korean market.

No fires, crashes or injuries have been reported related to the issue, the automaker said.
