New Kia Picanto with LPG drive

The new Kia Picanto is now available with LPG drive can be ordered. This will complete Kia line, the motorization of the new small car that has come onto the market in May 2011. In Europe the environmentally friendly gasoline alternative is strong and there is now a very tight supply network. With its three equipment versions ATTRACT, VISION and SPIRIT, the new Picanto complete comfort, from daytime running lights, cruise control and comfort indicator (standard in ATTRACT) over central locking, electric front windows and height-adjustable driver’s seat (standard in VISION) to air conditioning, audio system, electric folding exterior door mirrors and 15-inch alloy wheels (standard in SPIRIT top version). Optional are also amenities such as heated front seats, automatic climate control and dusk sensor available.

The basis for the comprehensive occupant protection is the rigid body, which consists in large part from high-strength steel and has been specially reinforced in key areas. The standard six airbags and a knee airbag for the driver and active head restraints (both series in SPIRIT) will enjoy the maximum passive protection, while the effective brake system with standard brake assist and electronic stability control (standard in SPIRIT, optional for VISION) is a high active safety level.
