Lamborghini Aventador Roadster Set For Miami Debut

by SpeedLux

Many reports were coming in after a person nicknamed “D55L” reportedly posted in Teamspeed forums that he had been invited for the U.S. launch of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, which will be held in Miami, Florida on 12th November, 2012.

The invitation title goes like this : “Our most powerful roadster ever. The excitement is sky high”

Now this can be rumor or may turn out to be a fact that the new roadster is powered by the same 691hp (700PS) 6.5-liter V12 linked to an all-wheel drive system found in the coupe version. It is also rumored that this Aventador will be showcased at the 2012 LA Auto Show at the end of the month. And the reports also claim that the Aventador will likely be equipped with a retractable hardtop made of lightweight materials, just like the ones found in McLaren MP4-12C Spider and Ferrari 459 Italia Spider. And the monocoque is constructed entirely from carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), a technology which Lamborghini pioneers. This ensures extreme rigidity and performance on the road, as well as a high level of passive safety for the driver and the passenger.

Take a look at the picture of the Invitation, and stay tuned for more updates on SpeedLux.
