Rupert Stadler, Audi Chief, recently announced that the Lamborghini Urus SUV could enter production phase in early 2016 and thereafter may be offered for sale in the next year.
The announcement was made by Rupert in an interview given to Autocar during Lamborghini’s annual press conference.
The company has made quite a few changes in the car which would help the cost to come down. Some of the changes include use of carbon fiber and aluminum elements for the body, same platform as cars such as Porsche Cayenne, Volkswagen Touareg and Audi Q7.
This news will surely create a lot of excitement and will also make car lovers and enthusiasts happy but it is still early to comment as to whether the plan of the car production would go as stated.
