Lockheed Martin reaches 2019 F-35 delivery target of 131 jets

Lockheed Martin Corp stated on Monday that it has reached its 2019 target to provide 131 F-35 fighter jets to the United States and its allies, as the defense contractor construct 47% more jets this year.

The world’s largest defense contractor stated that in 2020 it aims to deliver 141 F-35s.

Founded in 1995, Lockheed Martin operates in four business segments as of now, including Aeronautics, Missiles and Fire Control, Rotary and Mission Systems, and Space Systems.

Lockheed Martin is listed as the largest U.S. government contractor.
