The all new Maserati V8 Quattroporte sedan was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show and will be available at dealerships across USA within this month at a price of around $130,000. The Quattroporte will also be available in a cheaper V6 version.

The V8 comes with a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 unit and offers a total output of 530 BHP (395 kW) allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 307 km/h. The V6 comes with a smaller 3.0 liter engine, which can produce 410 BHP (306 kW) and being mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, will allow the vehicle to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in five seconds, before reaching a top speed of 285 km/h (177 mph). Both the engines are built by Ferrari and are stated to be powerful and fuel efficient.

The V8 will have the standard kit like a touchscreen infotainment system, four- or five- passenger seating, adaptive suspension, 20-inch wheels and Brembo brakes, among other modern touches in the car.
