The brand-new McLaren 570GT will make its UK launching at the renewed London Motor Show, following the worldwide reveal at the Geneva Motor Show previously this year. The most recent design in the Sports Series will be signing up with the 650S Spider and the sold-out 675LT Spider to be a part of the McLaren London stand #L 63 at Battersea Evolution, Battersea Park.
The 570GT is the most luxurious and glamorous McLaren to date sitting together with the 570S Coupé and 540C Coupé as the third model in the recently revealed Sports Series. Practical enough for daily use and long-distance journeys, the 570GT features a distinct side-opening rear glass hatch offering added storage on the leather-upholstered Touring Deck. The light and airy cabin is specified with the highest quality metals throughout and includes a standard fixed glass Scenic Roofing developing an open and soothing driving environment.
Underneath, the 570GT has been created with a road-biased dynamic setup, while maintaining the supercar levels of engagement experienced on other McLaren designs. The 570GT is adjusted with the McLaren-developed 3.8-litre twin turbo V8 M838TE engine which produces 570PS (562 bhp) and 600 Nm (443 pound feet) of torque. The power is delivered through the rear wheels by means of a seven-speed seamless-shift transmission with adjustment to the handling and powertrain settings available via Normal, Sport and Track. The UK pricing of the McLaren 570GT starts from ₤ 154,000 ($225,017) with first customer deliveries arranged for July 2016.
The car will be shown together with two groundbreaking models from the McLaren Super Series, the 650S Spider and the 675LT Spider, the latter of which is likewise making debut in the auto show. The 675LT Spider is the second design to use the renowned Longtail badge and the most concentrated, fastest and thrilling open leading McLaren design ever built. The vehicle was revealed in December 2015 as a limited edition of 500 units, all of which sold out within 2 weeks.
The restored London Motor Show will be starting at the Battersea Development from 5 May and end by 8 May. It is going to showcase more than 40 car brands and 130 designs to visitors from worldwide.
