Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series laps the Nurburgring in 7:25.67

by SpeedLux

The Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series was introduced around a year back but the company has recently released video of the model on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. As can be seen in the video, the super car laps the green hell in time of 7 minutes and 25.67 seconds which is a little slower as compared to the Ferrari Enzo but faster than the models like Ferrari 458 Italia and McLaren MP4-12C.

Just to give you a brief, the SLS AMG Black Series comes equipped with an aerodynamic body kit, an AMG Adaptive Performance Suspension and a locking rear differential.

The power is provided by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that is able to generate an output of 622 hp (464 kW) and 468 lb-ft (634 Nm) of torque. The engine is further mated to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT dual-clutch transmission which enables the 3,417 lb (1,550 kg) coupe to achieve the speed of 60 mph (96 kmph) in just 3.5 seconds and can hit a top speed of 196 mph (315 kmph).

The timing is quite interesting and will surely create some excitement for those who love speed.
