MG CS concept assured for Auto Shanghai

by SpeedLux

MG has confirmed the news that the CS urban SUV concept will be presented next week at 2013 Auto Shanghai show. There were leaks some time back regarding this concept.

The company also said that this concept will serve as a preview for the first production SUV. It is expected to be showcased on April 20 in the show. The concept has been designed by a design team led by the global design director of MG, Anthony Williams-Kenny. The headlamps are described as possessing a multi-faceted shard structure which refract light in variety of colors and shape from the side.

Not much was revealed by the firm about the concept but there are speculations that the concept may be an evolution of Icon concept that was unveiled in Beijing last year. There are chances that the car may come with the same platform as MG5 and it may feature a 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine with the output generation capacity of around 135 hp.

We will update you any further updates or details as soon as we come to know about it. Also we will keep a watch to share with you about the concept car reviews and feedbacks on the day of showcase of the same at the upcoming 2013 Shanghai Auto show.
