The new 2015 BMW X1

by Alex

The X1 would be a product from BMW that comes as a follow-on of its 1-Series Hatchback version and being the smallest SUV from them. There is however a long time between the launch of the 1-Series and the X1 to happen. It can therefore be expected to come out during the 2014 – 2015 period.

The car’s general look, comfort features as also the fuel consumption aspect would be looked at for improvement in the X1. The 5-series and also the 3-series are expected to inspire the looks of the X1. ConnectDrive feature is also expected to be standard equipment on the X1 as is also likely to be part of all BMW cars of future.

For engine, BMW is expected to keep the current engine but with certain tuning and tweaking to lower fuel consumption. There is also the possibility of a hybrid version of the X1 coming up along with the X1 having the ‘Start Stop’ and x-Drive features incorporated.
