Siemoneit Racing from Stade gets a whole lot more out of all Volkswagen engines. The German aftermarket specialists , especially when it comes to the car’s electronics, promises more driving dynamics, more torque, more performance, and also quicker and more intelligent gear changes with the S-Tronic and latest generation DSG automatic gearboxes.
To achieve more driving pleasure while lowering consumption modifications are made to the electronics in the engine and in the gearbox.
The Volkswagen Golf 6 from the R20 Series, thanks to a revised ECU, a new in-house exhaust system, a carbon fiber bonnet and a new air intake, is capable of delivering 350 hp and 485 Nm (358 lb-ft) of torque, which represents an increase of 84 hp and 135 Nm (100 lb-ft).
If you want to take things even further, then you’ll be happy to find out that this power increase can be even greater – 523 hp – thanks to an intercooler and a high pressure fuel pump. Siemoneit Racing claims that reprogrammed gearbox electronics “affords faster acceleration, super-rapid gear changes and even more fun at the wheel – whether on the road or on the race track.”
Beside this, the company also offers modifications to the Launch Control, the rev limiter and the torque limiter on the Volkswagen and Audi platform’s DSG and S-Tronic systems.
“Equally, gear shift points and gear shift times, as well as a number of other settings in the gearbox control can be altered. All this is necessary, if one would like to permit oneself a personalized improvement in performance,” a company statement explains.

Such a small car and still such a force…523 hp are a bit too much for this car
