Edo Competition decided to pit a Maserati MC12 Corsa against a Ferrari Enzo ZXX on the Nürburgring Nordschleife recently.
The Maserati MC12 Corsa comes equipped with 6.0-liter V12 engine capable of producing 755 HP (555 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque at 5,500 rpm.
The Ferrari Enzo ZXX was earlier an Edo Competition-tuned Enzo model before it crashed unfortunately in the Targa Newfoundland back in the year 2011. But that is history and now Edo has revived the life of Enzo which comes fitted with a 6.3-liter V12 engine and can generate 840 HP (618 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque at 5,800 rpm.
The car can achieve the speed of 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) in just 3.2 seconds, 124 mph (200 kmph) in 9 seconds and can touch 186 mph (300 kmph) in flat 19 seconds.
However there is one thing which can be considered as a drawback of these vehicles and that is the sound generated by both of them. The MC12 Corsa can reach 147 dB and the ZXX has reached 142 dB which is too high for Nordschleife.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. The embarrassment and ultimate shame of being too loud. I solved that problem on my Honda Element by installing a muffler.
