One dead and three injured after car crash in Warton, Lancashire

One died and three others were injured after a fatal car crash on Saturday morning in Warton, Lancashire.

Officials were notified of the car crash at around 1 am.

The incident took place on Lodge Lane. One person was confirmed dead and three people were taken to hospital.

At 1:06 am two fire engines from Wesham and St Annes attended the site of car crash.

A 21-year-old man was held at the scene on suspicion over allegedly causing death by dangerous driving, and drink or drug driving.

Another man, aged 36, and a 17-year-old boy – who were admitted to hospital – were also arrested.

A 31-year-old woman, who was admitted to arrested has bene also held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Identities of the involved haven’t been released yet.

It is yet to be known that what caused the crash.
