Over 8,000 classic cars will show up at Syracuse car show

The 17th annual Syracuse Nationals classic automobile show is underway at the New York State Fairgrounds outside Syracuse.

Over 8,000 unique classic automobiles from the United States and Canada are on the grounds for the three-day occasion, which concludes Sunday.

That makes it the biggest event held at the place aside from the New York State Fair.

Five automobile contractors contending for leading honors unveiled their brand-new creations Friday. They had a $5,000 budget to deal with.

The cars need to run and be road-worthy, vehicle bodies must be from the year 1959 or earlier, and engines need to be from 1973 or earlier. The automobiles likewise must be all steel. The winner will be chosen by vote of individuals attending the show.
