Polestar squeezes more power from Volvo V60 D6 Plug-in Hybrid

by SpeedLux

The world is turning out towards high speeds and power in the vehicles, but the drawback when going for high speeds is that the mileage will be reduced to a great extent. To solve this problem, revolutionary hybrid engines are now available in markets that employ both a regular engine and an electric motor to power up the ignition and the speed on road. This concept is taken up by polestar and they have now developed advanced engines for Volvo V60 D6 Plug-in Hybrid, which is one of the popular cars in the series of hybrid cars.

This car is going to be fitted with this engine in their new versions where they will become more powerful and faster than what they exist till date. The five cylinder engine makes all the magic with improved power output which gets coupled up to the second stage of electric boosting through means of motors that pushes the car to greatest speeds within a small push in the accelerator. This engine configuration for Volvo V60 D6 Plug-in Hybrid is designed in a very careful manner by polestar where the power and efficiency are traded off in a better manner to provide higher performance for hybrid vehicles.
