The 2015 Shanghai Motor Show is just around the corner and there are plenty of automakers, both from China and other parts of the world, that will be taking part in the event. One of the automakers to participate in the upcoming auto show in Shanghai is the China-based company, Qoros. The Chinese automaker has officially released a teaser image of its upcoming SUV model, the Qoros 2 SUV.
Taking a look at the teaser image, it is clearly visible that the Chinese SUV concept will be coming with wide wheel arches, paired with massive wheels. The teaser image also reveals that the Qoros 2 SUV concept is likely to have a bigger body size when compared to the company’s 3 City SUV model. Taking its bigger size into account, there is quite a good chance that the car will pack a more powerful engine than that of the Qoros 3 City SUV. Some people out there believe that the Qoros 2 SUV will benefit from a turbocharged 1.8L engine. With this engine, buyers of the Chinese SUV model will be able to expect a power output of no less than 185 HP.
According to the most recent reports in the world of automotive, this compact crossover from the land of China will be launched sometime in the fourth quarter this year itself. The launch should take place in the home country of the Chinese company. Unfortunately, up to the present time, there is no word yet on whether the model will also be available for markets outside China or not.
