Red Bull and Aston Martin To Create Only 150 Of These Costly Cars

by SpeedLux

Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing revealed their brand-new supercar to make the world’s fastest street-legal production car and boost the British automaker’s image.

The supercar, code-named AM-RB-001, will not be available until the end of 2018. As well as then, it will be tough to come by.

Just 99 to 150 of the vehicles will be created in addition to 25 additional vehicles made specifically for race course, as per the automaker. These track-only automobiles are expected to be able to carry out like any of the LMP1 Le Mans prototypes, a prototype race vehicle with bodywork that confines all of the mechanical parts and is utilized in circuit races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Business representative Matthew Clarke states the car has actually already been shown to some of its consumers, and that “interest is high.” A main buying procedure where consumers put down a deposit has not started.

Aston Martin isn’t really divulging the car’s price. However, other supercars can cost between $2 million to $3 million.

Aston Martin’s One-77, supercars produced during 2009 and 2011, sold for $1.9 million each. Just 77 of the two-door coupes, which struck a leading speed of 220 miles per hour, were created.

This is the very first time Aston Martin has coordinated with Red Bull on automobile. Adrian Newey, an acclaimed designer and the chief technical officer at Red Bull Racing, produced the vehicle with Marek Reichman, primary creative officer at Aston Martin, and David King, vice president and chief special operations officer at the automaker.

The vehicle will be produced at Aston Martin’s Gaydon center in Warwickshire, England, where its original supercar, the One-77, was developed.

Red Bull and Aston Martin revealed their partnership in March at the Formula One’s Australian Grand Prix, where Aston Martin’s logo appeared on the Red Bull team’s RB12 cars as part of a season-long deal. This made Aston Martin’s very first look in Formula One in over five decades.
