Rinspeed plans of driverless car with Geneva-bound XchangE concept

by SpeedLux

Rinspeed which is based out of Switzerland will bring the XchangE concept at the next year’s Geneva Motor show in March which envisions the cabin of an autonomous car.

Rinspeed has made a habit of showing interesting concepts at Geneva Motor Show and 2014 will be no exception to this trend as the company plans to reveal the XchangE concept. It will be a fully electric touring sedan envisioned with autonomous driving technology which will focus more on the comfort to be offered to the passengers who will benefit from seats providing the comfort you would normally find in the business class of an airplane.

The concept has been conceived with a new type of display offering great functionality not only to those who want to relax inside the cabin but also for those who want to do some kind of work while commuting. The XchangE concept comes with steer-by-wire technology which allows the steering wheel to be positioned in the middle of the dashboard for a more convenient cabin layout.

We can say one thing for sure that Rinspeed has come up with some amazing concepts in the past and we can hope the same to happen this year as well.
