Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Announces Record Number of Places for Apprenticeship Programme

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced that a record number of locations are available for the company’s 2017 Apprenticeship Programme. Since the program was introduced in 2006, numbers have boosted, with 2017 giving a record 20 candidates the chance to join the team at the Home of Rolls-Royce located in Goodwood, West Sussex.

The Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Apprenticeship Programme offers 16-24 year olds with the chance to learn and develop talent at the House of the world’s leading luxury producer. The apprenticeships last for up to 4 years and enable successful prospects to construct a career by completing college courses that are nationally acknowledged, along with on-the-job training at Rolls‑Royce Motor Cars. The programme has been developed in conjunction with a number of regional colleges.

Those applicants who stick out during the selection procedure will participate in August 2017, working along with specialized craftspeople in leather, wood, paint, engineering and assembly functions. Given the launch of the Apprenticeship Program in September 2006, more tahn 100 individuals have signed joined the program. Following a successful apprenticeship duration, there is a chance to establish within the company, with many Apprentices now using up leadership roles.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, stated, “I am delighted to announce the start of recruitment for this year’s Apprenticeship Programme. We are devoted to developing future skill at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and I am specifically pleased that we will invite a record number of new Apprentices to the business in 2017. The development of artisanal craft skills at our centre of excellence here in West Sussex, has been a trademark of the very first successful chapter in the renaissance of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. I look forward to inviting the next generation of talented craftspeople to the Home of Rolls-Royce in the Summer.”

In addition to the Apprenticeship Programme, about 100 university students were employed with the company in last year on commercial placements, varying in duration from 6 to 12 months. Rolls‑Royce Motor Cars is presently hiring for positions in 2017. The company likewise runs a Graduate Programme, with new positions provided every year.
