Subaru Pleo Plus unveiled in japan

Subaru the japanese car maker has divulged details about its new creation. Called the Pleo plus it will be released in japanese market very soon.

According to the car manufacturer, the Subaru Pleo Plus mini is based on the Daihatsu Mira, as part of the OEM agreement with the Toyota subsidiary and the model in question is basically a rebadged version of the Daihatsu mini, which is expected to attract more customers in Japan, considering the fact that it’s a fuel efficient vehicle and the Subaru badges can be found on its body.

The Subaru Pleo Plus is getting a revised 650cc three-cylinder petrol engine which is producing a total output of 51 HP and it has a peak torque of 60 Nm. The unit is fitted with regenerative braking system and the new start / stop system, which, along with the CVT and the body, are helping the model to burn just 3.3 liters of fuel every 100 km (30 km / L / 70.5 mpg US) in Japan’s JC08 Mode Test cycle.

Prices for the Subaru Pleo Plus start at 797,000 yen (7,500 EUR / 9,700 USD) for the two-wheel drive version while the all-wheel drive model is available from 1,097,500 yen (10,300 EUR / 13,300 USD).
