Tesla upgrades software after car hack

Tesla has upgraded its software after researchers from China hacked into the operating system of its electrical cars.

The group from Keen Security Laboratory remotely controlled the brake system on a Tesla while it was on the move, from a range of 12 miles.

Utilizing a laptop, the hackers also handled to open an automobile door without using a key.

Tesla has upgraded its software application to prevent anyone else from manipulating its vehicles.

The hack occurred after months of research and the group from Keen Security Laboratory published a video of their efforts earlier on YouTube.
