Two dead, two injured after car crash in Fairfield County

Two people were killed and other two people were injured after a two-vehicle crash on Friday night in Fairfield County, Ohio.

The crash took place on State Route 37 in Pleasant Township, around 7:40 p.m.

A Chevrolet 1500 was traveling east on State Route 37 and a Chevrolet Starcraft traveling west along State Route 37.

The driver of the Starcraft crossed the center of the road after which the car hit head-on into the Chevrolet 1500.

The drivers of the two vehicles, identified as 54-year-old David Fausnaugh, of Lancaster, and 45-year-old Robert Gleason, of Junction City, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

One passenger from both vehicles was flown to Grant Medical Center over non-life-threatening injuries.

Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
