Two killed after single-car crash in Jo Daviess County

Two people were killed following a car crash on early Saturday morning in Jo Daviess County, Illinois.

The crash took place at S. Pleasant Hill Road at 3:20 a.m.

Officials were notified of the single-vehicle rollover accident where the two passengers had been ejected from the vehicle.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The car traveled northbound on S. Pleasant Hill Road when it left the road and struck a culvert. After that, it rolled several times before it stopped on the driver’s side in a driveway.

The driver and other passengers were admitted to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The names of the victims are not released as of yet.

The crash is under investigation by Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
