Two people were killed after a single-vehicle crash in Estero, Lee County, Florida early on Sunday morning.

The crash took place when a sedan was traveling at a high speed on Coconut Road when the car hit a left curve. The car then spun out into the trees on the side of the road. Because of this, the car bust into multiple pieces.

A driver and a passenger in the passenger seat were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
