Volkswagen and two car parts providers have reached an agreement in a contract dispute that has required the automaker to stop some production, German day-to-day Hannoversche Allgemeine stated on its website on Tuesday, citing no sources.

It stated the parties had actually struck a long-term partnership thing, including that some deliveries of parts were to resume as soon as possible.

Volkswagen and 2 Prevent DEV group suppliers held talks over night to fix a contract conflict that threatens to cost the automaker thousands automobiles in lost output this week and is seen impacting other vehicle suppliers.
