Volkswagen Polo BlueGT now available for order in UK from 17,400 pounds

The all new Volkswagen Polo Blue GT, which uses ACT cylinder deactivation to maximize efficiency and power, is now available for orders. The new Polo Blue GT, would cost you £17,400 on road, which has a turbocharged 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine delivering 140 PS and 250 Nm (185 lbs ft) of torque, and it returns 61.4 mpg on the combined cycle and emmits just 107 g/km of CO2, and this whole unit is mated to either a six-speed manual or the seven-speed DSG transmission, whihc helps in delivering a top speed of 130 mph and it can do the sprint in 0- 62 mph in just 7.9 seconds.

The new EA211 engine mounted in the heart of the new Volkswagen Polo BLue GT is responsible for the high performance and a low fuel economy, and under light and medium loads the second and third cylinders are automatically shut down, producing fuel savings of up to 0.4 litres per 100 km, and at a constant 50 kmh (30 mph) the savings can be as much as one litre per 100 km, and even at 70 kmh (44 mph) in fifth gear, around 0.7 litres per 100 km can be saved. Cylinder deactivation takes place at the engine speeds of between 1,400 and 4,000 rpm, and at torque outputs of 25 to 100 Nm (18 to 74 lbs ft). The multifunction display in the instrument binnacle lets the driver know when cylinders are deactivated.

Some Features visible on the outside of this new Volkswagen Polo Blue GT are 17-inch ‘Montani’ alloys and the GT badges seen on front and rear, while the suspension is lowered by around 15 mm. With that, there are some features that they have been taken from the Polo GTI which are : the rear spoiler, rear bumper with diffuser, plus front bumper with LED daytime running lights, and some features have been taken from the Polo BlueMotion, like : side sills and front windscreen rain channels. The Volkswagen Polo Blue GT looks complete with a black-painted front grille and black door mirror caps, while a unique exterior paint, known as ‘Blue Silk’, is available as an option.

Inside the all new Volkswagen Polo Blue GT, its a whole complete different world, with the luxury it offers the occupants. Well the roof lining inside the car is in black, and have been taken from the GTI, at the front are the bespoked Blue GT sports seats and leather-trimmed steering wheel featuring BlueGT emblem. The infotainment system features DAB radio with iPod connectivity, cruise control, Bluetooth phone connection and XDS electronic differential lock and much more.
