With the success of most of its cars confirmed, the German automaker has decided to diversify the range on offer by introducing a Cross version of its Up!.
Smaller and cheaper than a Polo Cross, the compact roadster from Volkswagen is expected to be become one of the darlings of European customers. Having large, dark alloy wheels and black protective elements, the Cross Up is, in fact the better looking child than its bigger counterpart.
Power is provided by the same 75 PS three-cylinder petrol engine offered in other versions of the city car. The only transmission option operable at launch is the snippy five-speed manual, which is ideal for city driving.
Though smaller and compact it is likely to the become an instant hit among its customers and it would give a tough fight to the Golf and the Polo.
Cost regarding Volkswagen Cross Up in Germany would start at €13,925, which is €2,850 less than the €16,775 Polo Cross. Have a look at pictures.
