Volvo Adds Polestar Performance Updates for T6 AWD Models

by SpeedLux

If Volvo continues the business’s investment in its Polestar division, it might end up being the Swedish answer to Mercedes’ in-house receiver, AMG. For those not familiar with Polestar, the firm was once a separate company that constructed Volvo’s racecars. Since Volvo has acquired Polestar, the automaker is increasing down on its purchase by providing a new dynamic alternative straight from the in-house receiver.

Called Polestar Performance Optimization, this option consists of upgrades for all-wheel-drive T6 Volvo models to “offer a far better, much more vibrant as well as balanced driving experience”. The performance pack is now readily available for AWD T6 models of the S60 car, V60 wagon, in addition to the XC60 and XC90 crossovers.

Volvo hasn’t yet launched rates for the Polestar plan, yet it will likely set you back a few thousand dollars more than the existing, sport-oriented R-Design trim.
