W Motors LykanHypersport to be showcased at Qatar

by SpeedLux

W Motors will push ahead with the launch of LykanHypersport at the 2013 Qatar Motor Show, before deliveries begin later this year.

With its debut date being January 29, the first supercar coming from the Middle East will be limited to only seven units and will cost an incredible 3.4M USD.
It’s the culmination of painstaking six-year development journey in which important names like RUF Automobile, Viotti, Studiotorino, Magna Steyr Italia and ID4MOTION took part to complete the ambitious project.

Power will get boost from a mid-rear, flat-six, twin-turbo engine producing 750 hp (559 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque, helping the supercar reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds at a top speed of 242 mph (390 km/h).

Apart from being a very fast and furious, Beirut-based W Motors says the LykanHypersport would be a luxury as it will have diamond-coated LED lights and gold-stitched leather seats. Also there is a special Edition Cyrus Klepcys Watch worth more than 200,000 USD as a part of package.

Since the Qatar motor show is round the corner, we can expect more then and there itself.

Till then stay tuned and browse the lovely pictures.
