2 killed, 1 injured after car crash in Windham

Two people were killed after a car crash in Windham, Connecticut on Monday. 

A 91-year-old identified as James Bobbitt, was driving east on Route 6 and Carlene Drysdale, 90, was a passenger in a car driving west.

Both cars crashed at the intersection of Route 6 (Boston Post Road) and Route 203 (North Windham Road) just afternoon.

Bobbitt was pronounced dead at the scene.

Drysdale succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The driver of the car where Drysdale was a passenger, had suffered serious injuries.

Connecticut State Police have urged witnesses of the crash to contact State Police Troop K at 860-465-5400.
