by Alex

The highly collectible muscle cars are what Hurst Performance are better known for. Hence, if it is news about a package for a Camaro from Hurst then people tend to react with an overwhelming feeling of wonder and admiration.

Hurst Performance had introduced the 2010 Chevy Camaro Series 5 earlier this year. Of late, the company has brought out its peculiar edition Redline Series Hurst Camaro. The new package does not consist of the regular V8s anymore. Rather, it is a new experiment with the V6 engine this time. A RS V6 Camaro, the first model in the 2010 Chevy Camaro Series boasts an unparalleled assemblage of painted graphics and aerodynamic improvements that makes it even more agreeable.

The significantly altered exhaust system in the rear is mounted with an STS turbocharger in the Hurst Camaro. This mounting of the turbo charger has improved the performance by over 50 percent in terms of a gain in rear wheel horsepower and torque levels. Thus, while driving this Camaro you would just not be enjoying the benefit of your favorite Camaro running faster but you would also love the sports vehicle for its new 30 percent better fuel economy when compared with the stock Camaro SS having 6.2 liter V8 engine.

In addition, you have the choice in the package to opt for a manual or an automatic, Hurst HARD-Drive “Pistol Grip” Shifters, transmission system along with other features such as sway bars, and Hurst/Detroit Speed coil-over suspension. The package is also equipped with a special BFGoodrich Radial T/A Spec Redline Edition rubber. The package has some exterior and interior improvement as well. The exterior of the car now contains a new rear deck spoiler in conjunction with five-spoke 18 inch Hurst T1 alloy wheels whereas improvements in the interior includes Hurst/Katzkin leather seating. The leather seating is provided with a finish with contrast stitching and embroidered Hurst logos. The other prominent interiors in the car consists of a real metal consecutively numbered on the interior dash plaque along with a logo-embroidered floor mats.
