We get the first glimpse of the BMW 5 Series M Sport Package, courtesy some scanned pictures from a leaked brochure. Booking orders for this car is supposed to be starting this fall. The scanned pictures depict an M Sports –dressed Touring Model (F11), however it is understood that the same parts or design would be applicable for the Sedan version (F10).
The front bumper wears a new design with its color coded aero kit. It is also a slight chunkier and has larger air ducts. The side skirts are also included in this kit and the rear bumper has been given a complete makeover. We also get an integrated diffuser and tail pipes that has been given the chrome treatment. The whole new design is finished with a dark shade.
The images reveals two sets of options with the tires, multi spoke alloy wheels of 18 inch diameter shod with tires having the specification 350 M 245/45 R18 while the other set of tires is a 19 inch double spoke 351M alloys wheels shod in 245/40 R19 tires.
Moving over to the interior, the BMW’s M Sport comes equipped with a three spoke steering wheel having a thicker rim. The roof lining is anthracite and the sports seats have been given a unique trim. Gear box is automatic but also has the manual knob features as well. The dashboard and door panels too have been a given a decorative trim that scores on their unique appeal.
The suspension is the last bit that cannot be seen in the pictures, though a sports kit mix can be expected for sure. Also, performance statistics is the last thing that any scanned picture will ever is able to provide any hint of. So lets wait for the real thing to come to the fore.
