2011 Jeep Wrangler done up by Project Kahn

The Jeep Wrangler is the latest product to gets the Project Kahn treatment. Now this can be considered a break from tradition as the famed British tuner till now has been well known for their works on the Land Rover models. The modification that they carried out on the SUV has been only restricted to a paint job and wheel change. But the effect overall has been top class.

Kahn deigned the wheels themselves which is 19 inch RS wheels. This goes with the aggressive exterior paint job that they have done on the car. The original center cap from Jeep has been taken for the making of the wheels and this would be available immediately. Priced at £185 +vat in silver and £195 +vat makes it a reasonable purchase. However, stocks are going to be limited. Tires that the tuner recommends to go with this wheel are of 275 x 55 x 20 size.

The tuner states: “We have designed this wheel with the off road enthusiast in mind and we would like this design to compliment a great vehicle and offer the owner the opportunity to have a sense of individuality and break from the norm. There are many wheels currently available but not all of them are suited to the rough terrain and we question whether some of them can sustain the high off road usage that owners of these vehicles expect.”

The Wrangler has not been touched by many tuners. In the process the works done by Project Kahn, even though minimal at best appears to be a big job done on the car. There have been other off the road projects too but that is not yet known about. There is also the Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition which needs a look up.
