Spypics of the 2011 MINI Cooper Facelift

by Alex

The 2011 edition of the MINI Countryman is out though this time, the 2011 MINI Cooper family has not been subjected to any major overhaul of the mechanicals and its only a minor facelift job done to the newest kid on the block. The spy shots received of the new addition to the family is a pointer to what the 2011 model year car will look like.

The alterations are restricted to the headlights and the rear LED tail lights which have been redesigned. Then there is the front grille area which also has been subjected to some modifications. However the pictures available till now are only dealing with the exterior of the vehicle and sheds no light on the interiors. There could be some modifications effected to the interior of the car which these spy shots do not reveal. We could expect some change of material used and color scheme.

The engine is also expected to undergo some treatment which would increase its transmission by 2 hp. The oil system in specific which bases pressure on engine demand is being reworked upon to deliver this extra power. The steering wheel for its feel and the exterior color scheme along with a new set of wheels is also being predicted.
