by SpeedLux

Jeep has announced to launch two new special editions.

First up is the Wrangler Moab, which is named after the popular off roading place at Utah. The heavy duty steel bumpers are one of the first distinguishable characteristics of the Wrangler Moab Edition. The sculpted hood is also uniquely noticeable as are the rock sliders on the sills, and the number of exterior color options, including Black, White, Gecko, Dozer, Crush, and Rock Lobster, also it comes with a Trak-Lok rear differential and 17-inch alloy wheels with Goodyear Silent Armor tires.

As far as performance, the Wrangler Moab Edition is powered by the same 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that the rest of the Wrangler line-up comes in. Likewise, a limited-slip rear differential comes as standard for most trims, with the Sport and Sahara models having it as added options.

Despite the model’s rugged nature, the interior has leather seats, Iron Gray trim and a “Moab” embossed grab handle.

On the other hand, the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is the production version of the concept that was introduced at the 2012 Easter Jeep Safari. It features a grey accents, a black hood decal and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The model is also equipped with a Quadra-Lift air suspension, Selec-Terrain traction control and an electronically limited rear differential (on V8 models only).

Interior changes are limited, but include leather / suede seats and Mopar floor mats.

Other features include-

A lever for one-handed rear-seat folding, ambient cabin lighting, and the triumphant return of a second windshield washer nozzle. Optional equipment includes a soft canvas top—cut from the same cloth as the Chrysler 200 Convertible’s—and a soft-top lift assist that reduces by half the effort required to raise the roof assembly.
