Brabus, the well known aftermarket specialist known for specializing Mercedes-Benz, have tuned in the 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG, which is all set to be showcased at the Essen Motor Show.
Under the hood of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG, it carries the standard bi-turbo V8 5.5-liter engine producing 518 hp (386 kW) and a peak torque of 516 lb-ft (699 Nm), and once after the specialist lay their hands on the car, the engine began delivering a whopping 11 hp (456 kW) and 604 lb-ft (820 Nm) of torque, enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.5 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). All thanks to the installation of a custom stainless steel sport exhaust system and integrating the Brabus PowerXtra module into the engine electronic, which helped the engine to achieve such a figure!
The engineers at Brabus are also offering a power upgrade for the version with the optional AMG Performance Package that in its stock configuration delivers 550 hp (410 kW) and 560 lb-ft (758 Nm). Power is increased to the same 611 hp and 604 lb-ft. A custom control module for the AIRMATIC suspension is available, which helps in lowering the SUV’s center of gravity and also improves handling. Five wheel designs are offered in sizes of up to 23 inches with high-performance tires. They also created front and rear carbon fiber spoilers for reducing lift on both axles.
