2012 Roush Performance Stage 3 Mustang Shows Its Powers In ‘Hello Pavement’ [Video]

by Ionut Dragomir

Do you remember when we’ve showed you Roush Performance Stage 2? This is a program for the 2012 Mustang, which features all kinds of styling and handling upgrades and an engine that produces 412 horsepower and 390 lb/ft of torque mated to a six-speed manual transmission. However, it seems that this wasn’t powerful enough because Roush Performance decided to go even further with ‘Stage 3‘. At that time we’ve presented you all the updates included in this program and, of course the price.

Recently, the 2012 Roush Performance Stage 3 Mustang made its appearance performing a great burn out in Hello Pavement the Movie and you can watch the video below.

If you don’t know already, the 5.0L base engine is Roushcharged to 540HP and 465 ft/lbs of torque. Roush Performance brings a renowed suspension, which is capable of pulling over 1G of lateral force. Also the graphics and interior styling offers a variety of options and upgrades new to the 2012 platform.  Roush Performance stands behind their RS3 performance vehicle with a 3yr/36,000 mile full powertrain warranty.

The new Roush Performance Stage 3 is distinguished by a new front fascia, a revised rear valance, and a trunk-mounted spoiler. Beside all these, other goodies include a sport-tuned suspension, a high-performance braking system, and 18-inch wheels with Cooper 2XS tires.

Price: a “typically equipped” RS3 Mustang will cost approximately $59,945
