Not even the R8 Sports car or the TT will manage to escape the Audi updating program for ther model lineup. It all began with the A5 family, and it’s not going to stp until it’s done. The TT will suffer the modifications right before the new generation is revealed at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Even though a lot of fuss has been made regarding these changes, we shouldn’t expect any drastic changes on the TT. Just as it happened to the A5, some changes were made to some exteriour details and interiour updates. We should expect the same re-sculptured lights on the front and rear of the car with “wave-like” LED headlamps, a redesigned front bumper with larger air intakes, a modified front grille, a new electromechanical steering, a new rear bumper, new damper settings, and a revised rear suspension.
Since no changes are expected under the hod, the same range of three four-cylinder engines with turbocharging and direct fuel injection will be seen, with power outputs range from 160 HP – 211 HP.
All these engines are mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a S tronic dual clutch transmission as an option.
Of course, anyone looking to get a more powerful Audi TT should just wait around for the TT-RS Plus set to be released in 2013.

Not impressed, this car started out really cool but this generation has terrible styling updates.
