2013 Buick Encore Pricing Details

As you all know, Buick is a luxury brand of General Motors (GM). Buick models are sold in the United States, Canada, Mexico, China, Taiwan, and Israel, with that China being its largest market and Buick holds the distinction as the oldest active American make. Many current Buick models are shared with other GM brands and global subsidiaries.

And today we are talking about the new 2013 Buick Encore, from GM motors, wherein they have cone out with further details about the car, including the Pricing Details, EPA ratings, and feature details. The all new 2013 Buick Encore leaps with the best fuel consumption in its class along with best safety features.

The all new Buick Encore will go on sale in the beginning of next year for $24,950 that includes the $750 destination charge with a 1.4 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder making 140-hp and 148 lb-ft of torque, mated to a Hydra-Matic 6T40 6-speed automatic delivering power to the front wheels. All-wheel drive is an option for an additional $1500.

EPA ratings for all front wheel drive Buick Encore is 25 mpg city and 33 mpg highway for front-drive models.

“Encore opens the Buick brand to new groups of customers with a compelling blend of luxury, utility and efficiency,” said Tony DiSalle, vice president of Buick Marketing. “Its versatile shape, agile size and available all-wheel drive invite owners to live active lifestyles while enjoying Buick’s signature style, comfort and refinement.”

The new standard features which comes with 2013 Buick Encore are: QuietTuning with Bose Active Noise Cancellation, 18-inch wheels, a six-speed automatic transmission, a rearview camera, and a 7-inch radio display with IntelliLink Connectivity.

Now the new 2013 Buick Encore is slated under three trims which are as follows:

1. A Convenience Group variant, which is priced at $25,760 and comes with dual-zone climate control, a 120-volt outlet, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, remote start and fog lights.
2. A $27,460 with Leather Group, which includes above features, also adds leather trimmed upholstery, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, power passenger seat, and driver seat memory functions.
3. And lastly a $28,940 with Premium Group which includes Convenience and Leather group. With that it adds front and rear park assist, forward collision alert with lane departure warning, seven-speaker Bose sound system with a subwoofer ($595 option for other trims), rain sensing windshield wipers, and cargo net.

A highlight on the The Buick Encore’s Forward Collision Alert system, is that this system warns the occupants when the sensors detect a collision, when travelling above 25 mph. And Lane Departure Warning gets activated, when the speed limit goes up, of 35 mph, it warns the driver if the car changes lane without using turning indicator. These features can be conveniently turned of with the push of a button.

Navigation is an option, for the Convenience, Leather, and Premium models for $795, as well as an 18-inch Chrome wheels are also available for these models for $995, along with that an option of sunroof for $800.

The Buick Encore starts at $24,950 which apparently is priced slightly higher than its competitors such as the larger roomier Volkswagen Tiguan, which comes in at $23,820 and the Ford Escape, which starts at $23,295.
