The 2013 Ford Fiesta ST will be available in the UK at a starting price of 16,995 GBP.
The European version will be available mainly as a three-door model. The base ST1 version comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, Ford DAB radio and cloth Recaro sort seats. For 1000 more bucks, it is possible to order the model in the ST-2 trim which adds LED daytime running lights, better Sony DAB radio, half-leather Recaro sport seats and keyless entry.
Under the hat, it has a 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine producing 180 HP (132 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque. Linked exclusively to a 6-speed manual transmission, the Europe specific Fiesta ST finishes the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h).
Compared to the previous model, the ST version gets a altered suspension with new springs, dampers and front knuckles. The ride height has been lowered by 15mm, while the braking system has been improved. It also boasts a three-stage electronic stability control system and increased torque vectoring control.
