2014 Audi A3 Coupe gets rendered

by SpeedLux

Audi already offers the A3 in various versions that include a three-door hatchback, a five-door hatchback, a sedan and a convertible. The only thing that is being left out is a coupe and so X-Tomi Design decided to create a rendering for a A3 coupe.

Drawing inspiration from the A3 Cabrio, the A3 Coupe has a familiar design but can be distinguished with the aluminum windscreen frame and adopts a stylish hardtop. The end result is a little conservative but if adopted by Audi it would be a nice addition to the range.

As of now though the company doesn’t have any plans to offer an A3 Coupe but the model would likely be fitted with a variety of engines that include a 1.4-liter TFSI rated at 140 HP (103 kW), 1.8-liter TFSI with output of 180 HP (132 kW) and a 2.0-liter TDI outputted at 150 HP (110 kW). An S model would also be an attractive option as it would be equipped with a 2.0-liter TFSI engine that would generate 300 HP (221 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque.

The company has not shown any inclination towards the A3 coupe but we can still hope that this rendering gets some attention and it may change minds.
