2014 Citroen DS 5LS caught in the metal

by SpeedLux

The Citroën DS 5LS has been recently captured on the camera at a Shenzhen highway toll, following the car’s public debut earlier this month in Paris.

Despite being unveiled in France, the company does not have any plans to offer the DS 5LS in the markets of Europe as at least for now it will remain a China-only model. Judging by the rear plate, the vehicle seen in this image is one of the show cars from the Paris event going to Shenzhen where the DS 5LS will be produced by the Changan-PSA joint venture.

Talking about the interiors, the cabin will come equipped with premium materials combined with metallic and wood trim accents, as well as semi-aniline leather upholstery and reclining rear seats. Passengers will also be able to take advantage of a rear-seat entertainment system, an air purifier and massaging front seats.

Scheduled to be out in the market in March next year, the Citroën DS 5LS will be offered with THP 160 and THP 200 gasoline engines that will be further mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
